Komnas HAM Thinks It Is Natural There Is A Difference In The Testimony Of The Family And The Police On The Condition Of The Body Of The FPI Laskar

JAKARTA - The National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) has asked for information from the forensic doctor at the National Police Hospital, who autopsy the bodies of six special army guards of Rizieq Shihab.

The head of the Komnas HAM investigation team, Choirul Anam, said there were differences in testimony regarding the condition of the shooting wound to the body between the families of the six laskar and the police doctor. However, said Anam, the difference in information between the two parties is normal.

"Certainly there is no similarity. If asked whether there is a difference between one another, it should be different. If not different, it will be strange," said Anam at the Komnas HAM office, Central Jakarta, Thursday, December 17.

Anam explained that the information could be different because the two parties saw the condition of the body at different times. This was concluded by Anam based on the previous handling of other cases by Komnas HAM.

"The condition of a corpse that is one hour old and one that is one day old, will definitely be different. Whether the body has bruised or not, it must be different," explained Anam.

"Second, the condition of the body itself. If the body is mostly certain foods that affect nutrition, nutrition, situation, nature, and so on, it will affect the model and changes in the body," he continued.

Anam admitted that the police doctor also showed a number of photos depicting the condition of the bodies of the six special FPI troops before and after the autopsy. However, Anam was reluctant to reveal this information.

"We were shown a photo for the first time before the action and that is the most important position, so yes, it shows originality. But we cannot mention it at this time, because we have to consolidate our data again," he said.
