Jalan Astanaanyar Closed After The Bombing At The Astanaanyar Police

BANDUNG - Some sections of Jalan Astanaanyar, Bandung City, West Java, were temporarily closed following an explosion suspected of a suicide bombing at the Astanaanyar Police Office, Wednesday morning, December 7th. The road was closed right starting from the Pasirkoja-Astanaanyar Canal Intersection using a police line and water barrier. The closure of the road was also guarded by fully armed Brimob personnel. "It happened when the members were again apple, it happened at around 08.15 WIB," said a police officer guarding the location, confiscated by Antara.

Although closed, a number of residents stopped and approached the road closure to see the situation in the area. Meanwhile, an employee of Nyengseret Sandi Syarif Village whose office was near the Astanaanyar Police claimed to have heard the explosion. At the time of the explosion, according to him, residents rushed out of the building to the highway. "I don't know yet, just when I heard the explosion, people just scattered outside," said Sandi.
