Police Are Investigating The Case Of The Aniaya Coach Rock Climbing Athlete

JAKARTA - The Cakung Police are investigating the case of beating a rock climbing coach suspected of being carried out by his athletes in the JGC area, Cakung District, East Jakarta, on Monday last week, November 26.

Cakung Police Chief Kompol Syarifah Chaira said his party was investigating the report from the victim and would conduct an examination of a number of witnesses today, Monday, December 5.

"Still in the process of being investigated. It is still being investigated because the new witnesses will come," said Syarifah Chaira as quoted by Antara.

Previously, a video circulated on social media showing the beating of a rock climbing coach allegedly carried out by his athletes.

In the video narration, it is stated that more than one person was abused against the Jakarta rock climbing coach with the initials AH.

The motive is allegedly because two AH's students did not accept it when they were reprimanded by the victim for rarely participating in training and saying it on social media.

When the training session began, a AH student who was previously reprimanded suddenly expressed his disapproval with the warning.

Disputes ensued until finally there was a beating as recorded in the viral video. As a result, AH suffered swelling wounds to the nose, cheeks and left ear.

Due to the incident experienced, AH has reported the case to the Cakung Police Integrated Service Center (SPKT) and the report is received with the number LP/B/1231/XI/2022/SPKT/SEK.CK/RJT/PMJ.
