Tebet Police Chief Kompol Chitya Intania said the incident occurred Thursday, December 1, at 01.00 WIB.

"1 unit of a gray Asus Vivobook laptop, 1 gray Fred Perry brand bag, 1 dark brown Aigner brand wallet, 1 white Xiaomi brand watch, 1 white Guess watch, 1 brown Aigner watch. The total loss value is IDR 20,732,000," Chitya said in her statement, Sunday, December 4.

Chitya explained that the incident began with a resident's report about a house burglary in the Tebet area. On that basis, the police conducted an investigation until the identity of the perpetrator was finally known through CCTV footage.

"Recognize the identity of the perpetrator named Janwari. After that the opsnal team tried to find the whereabouts of the perpetrator, then the opsnal team managed to secure the perpetrator who was in the boarding room," he said.

Janwari admitted that the stolen goods were entrusted to a friend with the initials A. The police are pursuing the party concerned.

"Until now, the Tebet Police Criminal Investigation Unit is still searching for evidence and a friend of the perpetrator named A (search)," he said.
