JAKARTA Pondok Gede is still investigating the case of beating the imam of the Arrahman Mosque, which was carried out by an unknown person during the Maghrib prayer on Thursday, December 1.

Pondok Gede Police Chief Commissioner Herman Edco said his party was currently investigating the case. His personnel have also been deployed to the location to check.

"Members are still at the scene. Meanwhile, we are coordinating with the victim to make a police report," said Commissioner Herman when confirmed, Friday, December 2.

In addition, said Commissioner Herman, the perpetrators have not yet been secured by the police. The residents at that time only intervened the mob action. The victim still hasn't made a police report.

"No (the perpetrators have been arrested). It was separated by residents, we have not received any police reports," he said.
