Viral! JNE Boss Takes A Photo With Rizieq, Check The Facts

JAKARTA - Twitter account @nila_mrt shared a photo showing Rizieq Shihab with a man. This account narrates that the man pictured with Rizieq is the boss of JNE, a shipping service company.

The upload contained a narrative: “How come the face of the JNE boss is a countryman with rizieq and wa abud? I think myaman too. Pantesan kadrun "wrote the account @nila_mrt on Monday, December 14th.

From the search results of turnbackhoax.id, the narrative is hoax or untrue. In fact, the one pictured with Rizieq Shihab in the picture is Hanny Kristianto, Director of the IKHLAAS Foundation and the Secretary General of the Indonesian Center for Mualaf (MCI).

"The claim that the JNE boss shakes hands with HRS as pictured is a hoax and is included in the misleading content category," wrote the turnbackhoax.id site.

Reporting from the website fpi-online (dot) com, Hanny Kristianto was visiting Rizieq Shihab's residence in Mecca in 2018. On several occasions, Hanny Kristianto and his institution collaborated with JNE's delivery service to distribute compensation.

However, turnbackhoax.id did not find Hanny Kristianto's name as a JNE official on the official website of PT Tiki Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir (JNE). In the JNE official website, it is known that the President Director of JNE is named Mohamad Feriadi and Chandra Fireta and Edi Santoso as directors.
