Acting Regent Of South Lampung Nanang Ermanto Under Investigation By The KPK

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned the Acting Officer (Plt) South Lampung Regent Nanang Ermanto. He will be examined in connection with the investigation of the bribery case for the procurement of goods and services in the South Lampung Regency Government for the 2018 year.

"The person concerned was summoned as a witness for the suspect HH (Hermansyah Hamidi / former Head of PUPR South Lampung Regency 2016-2017)," said Acting KPK spokesman Ali Fikri when confirmed in Jakarta, as reported by Antara, Tuesday, December 15.

Previously, Hermansyah was announced as a suspect on September 24, 2020.

In the construction of the case, Hermansyah was suspected of committing corruption together with the former South Lampung Regent Zainudin Hasan.

Hermansyah and former Head of Irrigation of the PUPR South Lampung Office, Syahroni, received orders from Zainudin Hasan to collect project levies at the PUPR South Lampung Office of 21 percent of the project budget.

Hermansyah asked Syahroni to collect deposits which would later be handed over to Agus Bhakti Nugroho, who is an Expert Staff to the Regent of South Lampung as well as a Member of the South Lampung Provincial DPRD.

Syahroni then contacted the partners at the PUPR South Lampung Office and asked for deposits from the partners and plotted the partners against the size of the procurement package at the PUPR South Lampung Office according to the amount of funds deposited.

In addition, a special team was created to be tasked with "uploading" the offers of the partners according to the plot that had been prepared based on the value of the deposits that had been submitted by the partners.

The funds submitted by the partners were received by the suspects Hermansyah and Syahroni and then paid to Zainudin Hasan, which was given through Agus Bhakti Nugroho, totaling Rp72,742,792,145.

Meanwhile, the amount of funds received is divided by the value for the Procurement Service Unit Working Group (Pokja ULP) of 0.5-0.75 percent, the regents 15-17 percent, and the PUPR Kadis by 2 percent.
