KRL Which Plummeted In Kampung Bandan Ditarik To Balai Yasa Manggarai

Electric Rail Train (KRL) with the number KA 5144C fell at Kampung Bandan Station, North Jakarta, Saturday, November 26.

VP Corporate Secretary of KAI Commuter, Anne Purba said, the fallen series suffered quite a damage.

"The Commuter Line series, which previously dropped at Kampung Bandan Station, was pulled by rescue train to further inspection and repair at Balai Yasa Manggarai," Anne said in her statement, Sunday, November 27.

Anne said that the fallen series had again experienced problems when it was about to enter Manggarai Station.

"As a result of these obstacles, the Commuter Line journey across Manggarai-Tanah Abang or vice versa cannot be passed," he said.

According to him, the Commuter Line trip for the Cikarang/Bekasi-Angke connection via Manggarai trip is only up to Jatinegara or Manggarai to return to Bekasi/Cikarang.

Meanwhile, the commuterline trip for the Cikarang/Bekasi-Angke connection via Pasar Senen trip is only up to Pasar Senen or Kemayoran to return to Bekasi/Cikarang.

"Currently, joint officers from KAI Commuter and KAI Daop 1 Jakarta are in the process of handling these obstacles. Other cross-commuterline travel has no problems," he said.

As previously reported, the Electric Rail Train (KRL) with the number KA 5144C fell at Kampung Bandan Station.

As a result, the travel route for other train series experienced problems and had to be engineered.

"KA 514C which experienced a decline at Kampung Bandan Station at 13:47 WIB," said KAI Commuter VP Corporate Secretary, Anne Purba.

Based on reports received, the KRL incident fell at 13:47 WIB. However, the cause was not explained.

So far, only no casualties have been conveyed in the incident. Then, the process of evacuating a series of trains is still being carried out.

"There were no casualties, and currently KAI Commuter together with the Operational Area 1 Jakarta Team are conducting an evacuation as well as checking infrastructure so that the return route can serve KRL," said Anne.
