Yasonna explained that the purpose of changing the IKN Law was to accelerate the process of moving the state capital and organizing special IKN areas. Meanwhile, the material for changing the IKN Law to optimally strengthen the IKN Authority through special arrangements related to the funding and management of state property.

"The special arrangements are also related to the processing of IKN assets which are separated by financing, convenience, and investment facilities, progressive land rights provisions, and guarantees for the continuity of IKN development," he explained.

In addition to the amendments to the IKN Law, Yasonna continued, the government has also submitted a Bill on the Procurement of Goods and Public Services to be included in the 2020-2024 Prolegnas and the 2023 Priority Prolegnas.

"The President's directive in a Limited Meeting on August 25, 2022, is to prepare the bill as a legal umbrella as a step to accelerate the digital transformation of the procurement of goods and services," he said.
