JAKARTA - The search for an elderly person named Samlawi (70) is still being carried out by a joint SAR team around the Cimanceuri River, Kronjo District, Tangerang Regency, Banten, Friday, November 18.

In addition to the search process, apparently according to witness testimony, the victim had often fallen into the Cimanceuri River but was rescued by residents.

Based on the testimony of the witness who is also still the victim's family, the victim is used to being dragged by the current repeatedly.

"The habit of victims being swept away by the current is the third time," he said, Friday, November 18.

In the previous incident, the victim was swept away by the current but was found and rescued by residents who knew about the incident. However, at the time of the incident last Wednesday, November 16, the victim had not been found.

"The incident occurred when Samlawi was bathing at the time, and suddenly disappeared, allegedly dragged by the current of the river," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the Jakarta SAR Office sent a rescue team to assist in the search for an elderly victim named Samlawi (70) who had drowned in the Cimanceuri River, Kronjo District, Tangerang Regency, Banten. The victim was declared missing since last Wednesday, November 16.

The rescue assistance was carried out after the Jakarta SAR Office received a report on the search for drowning victims from the Kronjo Police.

"We and the joint SAR team from Wednesday night have made efforts to search for victims. However, until Thursday, November 17, night, the search was still nil because the situation in the field was minimal in light. The search will also be expanded," said Head of the Jakarta SAR Office as SAR Mission Coordinator (SMC) in the SAR operation, Fazzli when confirmed, Thursday, November 17, evening.
