Victim Indra Kenz Disappointed Confiscated Assets Taken Over Country

TANGERANG - Victim Indra Kenz who was present at the Tangerang District Court (PN) admitted that he was disappointed that the Panel of Judges sentenced Indra Kenz to 10 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 5 billion. Moreover, Indra Kenz's assets were confiscated by the state.

"The judge is unfair. We ask that the rights of the victims be returned, not returned to the state," said the victim's attorney, Irsan Gusfrianto, to reporters at the Tangerang District Court, Monday, November 14.

Irsan assessed that the decision given by the Panel of Judges was not fundamental. This is because the victim was originally introduced as an investment robot, not an online gambling.

"It is not basic, it is very detrimental to us as victims. Because from the start these victims were introduced as investments, not online gambling," said Irsan.

The judge sentenced Indra Kenz to 10 years in prison and a fine of 5 billion. The Panel of Judges also decided that Indra Kenz's confiscated assets would be taken by the state. Because of the crime of money laundering (TPPU) and Binomo investment fraud with the defendant Indra Kenz, there are indications of gambling.

"By not preserving gambling. So the evidence number 227 to 288 coalitions as state assets must be confiscated for the state," said Chief Justice Rachman Rajagukguk, Monday, November 14.
