Ogah Responding To The Meeting Of Projo And Prabowo, Hasto PDIP: Volunteers Can Change According To The Winds

Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto refused to talk much about the visit of the volunteer group supporting Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to the residence of Gerindra Party Chair Prabowo Subianto. According to him, this kind of movement was fluid and could change.

"What I responded to was that the political parties, if the volunteers (Projo, ed) were disbursed, could change according to the direction of the wind," said Hasto in a written statement, Friday, November 11.

Hasto called volunteers different from political parties (political parties). The group is not known in the legislative political system in the country.

In addition, volunteers do not have a registered and solid organizational structure. This condition is different from political parties.

"Parpol kan kokoh, Ketua Umum kokoh, struktur kokoh, pergerakan kokoh," tegasnya.

As previously reported, the meeting of Jokowi and Prabowo volunteers was held in Kertanegara, South Jakarta on Thursday, November 10. At that time, the Minister of Defense received mobile results from Jokowi volunteers in several cities or areas which were handed over by the General Chairperson of Projo Budi Arie.

Prabowo said the results of the deliberation of Jokowi volunteers would be input for him ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

"Earlier I received input from Projo's friends, from friends of the People's Consultative Assembly, their results toured the regions, what were the views from below and they gave me input, and I also gave explanations," Prabowo told reporters, Thursday, November 10.
