The PSI faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD has asked the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono to take responsibility for the implementation of Formula E which has been running on June 4, 2022 and is planned to continue until 2024. This was conveyed in a plenary meeting that discussed the delivery of general views of the factions to the Raperda on the DKI Jakarta Regional Budget for the 2023 fiscal year. Although PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) BUMD has revealed that Formula E has made a profit of IDR 6 billion, Idris questioned whether the calculation of the financial report has included an expenditure fee of IDR 560 billion for the commitment fee. Idris understands that the polemic electric car racing event was planned and held by the former Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, whose position has now ended. However, Anies has planned to continue the Formula E title for the next two years, namely in 2023 and 2024. So, if it continues, Formula E will also be held during Heru's leadership. "Although we understand that this is not during the Governor's responsibilities, but there are still 2 years of implementation that must be carried out by Jakarta and there is already Rp560 billion paid as this commitment," he said.
