There May Be A New Suspect In The Case Of Berdendang Bergoyang Music Festival

JAKARTA - Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol Komarudin revealed that it was possible that there were new suspects related to the "Berdendang Bergoyang" music festival, at Istora, Bung Karno Gelora Complex (GBK), Senayan, a few days ago.

"It is possible that when in the investigation process new facts are found again, it is possible that there are more suspects," said Komarudin, as quoted from Antara, Monday, November 7.

However, he ensured that it would be carried out in accordance with procedures and based on the findings of investigators in the field.

"Of course, it is seen from various aspects and is related to the violations or problems that occurred in 'Berdendang Bergoyang'," he said.

Even though the suspect has been named, Komarudin ensured that the investigation process related to the Berdendang Bergoyang concert will continue.

Metro Jaya Police has canceled the continuation of the music concert "Berdendang Bergoyang" at Istora Senayan Jakarta on Sunday, October 30 for the safety of the audience.

Initially, the concert was planned to last for three days, namely 28-30 October 2022, but the number of visitors who exploded on the second day made the Police decide to cancel the concert on the third day.

Police officers found an alleged practice of selling tickets that exceeded the capacity of the building where the concert was taking place.

Related to this, the Central Jakarta Metro Police investigators then named two people as suspects in the case of the "Berdendang Bergoyang" music concert.

The two people named as suspects, namely HA as the person in charge of the event and DP as the director.

The person in charge of the music festival is subject to Article 360 ​​paragraph (2) of the Criminal Code (KUHP) concerning Negligence Causing Serious Injury. Then Article 93 of Law Number 6 of 2018 concerning Health Quarantine.
