Ministry Of Religion Improves Christian Quality In The Sangihe Islands

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) of Sangihe Islands Regency, North Sulawesi Province continues to improve the quality of Christianity in the area with the activities of the Christian Religious Education Supervisory Group (Pokjawas PAK) in Sangihe Islands Regency.

"In order to improve the quality of education in the archipelago, so we carry out activities of the Christian Religious Education Supervisory Working Group (Pokjawas PAK) regarding integrated supervision in Sangihe Islands Regency," said Acting Head of the Sangihe Islands Regency Ministry of Religion Mumammad Ali Lintuhaseng, quoted by Antara, Sunday.

Ali Lintuhaseng said PAK supervisors must prepare supervisory supervision guidelines based on existing tasks.

This activity was attended by 33 participants from 15 regencies/cities throughout North Sulawesi.

Head of the Regional Education and Culture Office of Sangihe Regency, represented by the Head of the Development Division of Rolla Pella Junior High School, said supervisors play an important role in improving the quality of Christian Education.

Because, he said, the supervisor is tasked with providing assistance and supervising so that Christian learning can be carried out properly.

"In turn, this will have a positive impact on the formation of the character and personality of the nation's next generation," he said.

At least six competencies must be honed by subjects supervisors. The six competencies are the competence of educators, professionals, personality, social, managerial competence, and competencies in the field of research.

The event to Improve Competency and Professionality of Christian Religious Education Supervisory (PAK) throughout North Sulawesi was held for three days and filled with group discussions to draft the supervision guidelines for Christian Religion in northern Sulawesi and carry out supervision of schools in Sangihe Islands Regency.
