VIVA Respects Government Appointment Implementing ASO

JAKARTA - PT Visi Media Asia Tbk (VIVA) as the parent company of ANTV and tvOne expressed its gratitude to television viewers who faithfully participated in the ANTV and tvOne broadcast program in the Jabodetabek service area.

VIVA with humility apologizes because on November 3, 2022 at 24.00 WIB ANTV and tvOne must stop broadcasting analog (Analogue Switch Off) in the Jabodetabek service area to fulfill the Government's request through the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs," explained VIVA management, in a statement, Thursday, November 3.

"Although it is known that the level of community penetration in the Jabodetabek service area of digital broadcasting access is still very minimal and there are still many interpretations of the implementation of laws and regulations as a result of several legal remedies, we follow the government's recommendations," added the VIVA management.

Finally, the management of VIVA thanked the people of Jabodetabek who continued to faithfully follow their favorite programs on the ANTV and tvOne screens.

Previously, on November 2 at 24.00 WIB, the government through the Ministry of Communication and Information officially stopped broadcasting Analog (Analog Switch Off/ASO) TV in Jabodetabek.

"With Analog Switch Off, we are marking a new era of television digitization. From Jabodetabek to the archipelago," said the Minister of Communication and Information Technology, Johnny G. Plate at the Jabodetabek Switch Off Analog event in Jakarta.
