JAKARTA - The public prosecutor (JPU) will respond to the exception or memorandum of objection from the defendants Baiquni Wibowo and Chuck Putranto in the obstruction of justice trial today.

In the exception of the two defendants in the obstruction of justice case, Nopriansyah Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J asked the panel of judges to release all charges.

The public prosecutor responded to the defendant's objection note, "quoted from the Case Investigation Information System (SIPP) of the South Jakarta District Court, Thursday, November 3.

In this case, Baiquni Wibowo and Chuck Putranto were accused of obstruction of justice or obstructed the investigation into the premeditated murder case of Brigadier J at the Ferdy Sambo residence when he was the Head of the Propam Police Division.

They are said to have conspired with Ferdy Sambo, Hendra Kurniawan, Agus Nurpatra, Irfan Widyanto and Arif Rachman.

In addition, in the obstruction of the investigation process, they are said to have secured and copied CCTV DVR data installed in the Police Complex, Duren Tiga.

Thus, they were charged with violating Article 49 in conjunction with Article 33 subsidiary Article 48 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 32 paragraph (1) of the ITE Law Number 19 of 2016 and/or Article 233 of the Criminal Code subsidiary Article 221 paragraph (1) to 2 in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code.
