JAKARTA - The Kebon Jeruk Police have arrested two perpetrators of theft of luxury car mirror specialists who have acted in several areas of Jakarta.

Kebon Jeruk Police Chief Kompol H Slamet Riyadi said the two perpetrators had the initials YS and JAS. Both of them acted by prying out the car's rearview mirror on Jalan Alteri Kelapa Dua, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta.

The incident began on Friday, October 28, when the YS and AJS actors departed from Pasar Senen to Pondok Indah using Transjakarta.

The perpetrator YS saw the victim's car, a Toyota Fortuner driven by I Wayan, stuck in traffic. YS, immediately approached the car and broke the mirror that was installed on the left side of the car. While AJS helps YS.

After success, YS put the car mirror into the bag that had been prepared. After getting the stolen goods, the perpetrator tried to run away.

While the victim got out of the car and shouted at the perpetrator while chasing. As a result, the two perpetrators were successfully surrounded and arrested by residents.

The two perpetrators, YS and AJS, were taken to the Kebon Jeruk Police.

"The perpetrator once acted in the Warakas area and Jalan Mambo, North Jakarta. The perpetrator sold stolen goods in the Asem Reges area, West Jakarta for IDR 300 thousand," he said.

In order to be held accountable for their actions, the two perpetrators were subject to Article 363 of the Criminal Code with a maximum penalty of 7 years in prison.
