JAKARTA - Central Java is again included as the most informative provincial candidate in 2022. This is evidenced by the entry of Central Java into the Public Trial stage held by the Information Commission (KI) in Jakarta.

The Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo himself attended the Public Trial stage event. In front of a number of panelists, Ganjar explained regarding the disclosure of public information that had been carried out in Central Java.

"Actually, Central Java is not very perfect regarding the disclosure of public information. However, we are trying to make people access to the widest possible disclosure of public information. But with a note, open does not mean naked," said Ganjar, Tuesday, November 1.

Ganjar said that in the past, the people of Central Java had difficulty accessing public information. Those who want to complain about bad services or any complaints have never been responded to. Including those who want to access public information.

"At the most, residents were asked to come to the office, which served the Satpol PP and had a thick mustache. Yes, they were afraid," he explained.

From there, Ganjar tried to reform the bureaucracy. He made a number of breakthroughs to make it easier for people to access public information in Central Java. Some are in the form of websites, applications, telephones, SMS, WA and others.

"People want to get work information, we make e-Makaryo. If anyone wants to access the financial system, how to spend and others, we make a Government Resources Management System (GRMS). Some want to know the proposals of Musrenbang, we make an e-Rembugan. Actually that is our way to try to be open, even though they are not naked," he explained.

In addition to websites and applications, Ganjar also optimizes social media as an effort to provide public information disclosure. He requires all OPDs in Central Java to have social media accounts and must check blue. With that social media account, the OPD's plans and work programs in Central Java are conveyed as a form of openness to the public.

"Not only about information, but this social media account can also be the most effective place for public complaints. The risk is only being bullied, but there are many things we can solve through this social media," he explained.

Ganjar said that public information disclosure is not enough just to use websites or applications. Because out there, there are still many people who do not understand it.

"But for social media, almost everyone is familiar and can use it. Many people have social media accounts and they can directly provide feedback to us. That's in my opinion, so we encourage it if it's just a website for what. If you want to be open, you have to use social media," he concluded.

For your information, the Public Trial event was held by the Information Commission on institutions, agencies, local governments that passed the self-assessment questionnaire (SAQ) stage with a value of 100 points. Apart from Central Java, a number of regions were also present at the event.

Central Java itself has repeatedly received awards as the most informative province. At least, Central Java has been the province most informative four times in a row since 2018.
