Not Only Focusing On Special Operations, President Putin: Now There Are New Challenges, This Is Serious

JAKARTA - Russian President Vladimir Putin has demanded all state officials to revitalize efforts in all fields, not only focusing on special operations, as new challenges arise.

"We need greater urgency in all areas and a very realistic assessment of the situation, the situation as a whole. This applies not only to special military operations, but also to all of our activities in almost all fields," President Putin told a meeting of the Coordinating Board for Meeting the Needs of Special Military Operations., reported TASS October 26.

President Putin further said the government had sought to regulate such efforts in a new way, managing all areas of activity more effectively since the fight against the coronavirus.

"Now there are new challenges. This is serious, significant. It also applies to the activities of law enforcement officers, security forces and the Ministry of Defense. That also applies to all civilians," said President Putin.

President Putin called on "EACH person to put their thoughts on meaningful work in a new format", calling for not hiding behind the formality and standard bureaucratic procedures in which the government is currently operating.

"If we work according to standard bureaucratic procedures, hiding behind the formality, we will not get the desired results in any field. The reason why we created the coordination board mechanism is to solve all problems more quickly and more efficiently," he concluded.
