Still Searching For 2 Carung Materials On Fire, The Police Have Not Yet Determined The Suspect In The JIC Mosque Dome Fire Case

North Jakarta Metro Police are still investigating the fire that hit the Jakarta Islamic Center (JIC) Mosque, Koja, North Jakarta.

North Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Wibowo said his party was still waiting for the results by the crime scene (TKP) and testing evidence from the National Police Headquarters Forensic Laboratory Center Team (Puslabfor) regarding the fire that occurred on Wednesday, October 19.

"Yes (the results of the lab strengthen evidence of negligence). Later the results of the Labfor come out and we will discuss the examination of witnesses along with the evidence found at the crime scene, we will combine all of them later," Wibowo said when contacted, Sunday, October 22.

Wibowo said that until now the fire case was still under investigation. The police have also investigated a number of witnesses to determine the cause of the intentional fire, negligence or others.

"We are still waiting for the lab results first while waiting for the examination of other witnesses, we have not determined who the suspects are," he said.

Previously, it was reported that Puslabfor Police Headquarters personnel brought burned material from the location of the Jakarta Islamic Center dome fire after conducting a crime scene investigation on Thursday, October 20.

"The focus is that it collapsed and caught fire. We can't talk much more, because later on, it must be together with the Resort Police," said Head of Laka Bakar Affairs at the National Police Forensic Laboratory, Kompol Heribertus, quoted from Antara, Thursday, October 20.

The burned material as many as two sacks were carried from the scene of the operation vehicle of the National Police Headquarters Puslabfor. One of the sacks contains tube-like items with a dark pink color.

However, the police did not explain the contents of the two sacks. Heribertus only revealed that the items obtained from the crime scene would be examined in the laboratory.

"We took it to the laboratory for examination," said Heribertus.
