The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has completed the case file and evidence for the alleged bribery case with the suspect, former Tanah Bambu Regent, Mardani Maming. The case file has been submitted from the KPK investigating team to the prosecutor's team.

Plt. KPK spokesman Ipi Maryati said that the case file for the alleged bribery of mining permits by Mardani Maming had been appropriate to be brought to trial.

"From the results of the examination of the contents of the case files, both formally and materially, the Prosecutor's Team stated that they were fulfilled and deserved to be brought to the trial stage," Ipi told reporters, Saturday, October 22.

In accordance with the provisions of the law, the team of prosecutors will immediately transfer the case file and indictment to the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court within 14 working days.

"Later on, the Prosecutor's Team will be ready to elaborate and prove all the alleged actions of the suspect MM (Mardani Maming) based on the evidence that has been collected during the process of investigating this case," he said.

Currently, Mardani Maming is still being detained for the next 20 days by the prosecutor's team, from October 21, 2022 to November 9, 2022 at the KPK Detention Center at Pomdam Jaya Guntur.
