Joint officers consisting of the Police, Satpol PP and TNI control control the control of people with social welfare problems (PMKS). The activity was carried out at a number of vulnerable points for PMKS in Central Jakarta, Friday, October 21.

"We carry out regular control and guard activities by officers," said the Head of Menteng Suprayogi Sub-district, quoting Antara, Friday, October 21.

Suprayogi said that his party would guard the Menteng Sub-district Satpol PP officers after the control was carried out. The goal is that no more PMKS in the locations have been brought under control.

He also revealed that his staff had only brought order to the location of the dimly lit stalls that were used as places of immorality. At that location there were also dozens of bottles of liquor (alcohol) which were finally secured by officers from the location.

"We do cleaning on the banks of the Ciliwung river on Latuharhari Street. We secure their facilities such as tables, chairs, tents, emergency toilets and bottles of alcohol from the location," he said.

In addition, periodic control will also be carried out so that the location is not used as a place of immorality anymore.

Separately, the Head of the Government Section (Kasiepem) Cempaka Putih Nanik said his party had secured seven PMKS in the Cempaka Putih sub-district.

"We have secured seven PMKS and one of them is a toddler," added Nanik.

Nanik said all PMKS would be taken to Cempaka Putih District for data collection. If there are family parties who guarantee it, PMKS will be returned to the family.

"They also made a letter of agreement that they would no longer become PMKS. Those who do not guarantee, we will take them to a social institution in West Jakarta by the Central Jakarta Social Service Sub-dept. They will be trained," he said.

The types of PMKS that were secured were beggars, scavengers and homeless people. Everything is brought under control because their presence is considered disturbing and this control activity will be carried out regularly.

"We secure all beggars, scavengers and homeless people. We comb them on Jalan Ahmad Yani, Suprapto to the market in Cempaka Putih," he concluded.
