Support Ganjar Pranowo To Become A Presidential Candidate In 2024, FX Rudi Is Not A Problem If He Is Punished By PDIP

JAKARTA - The chairman of the Solo City PDI-P DPC FX Hadi Rudyatmo is ready if he gets sanctions from the party after supporting Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres). He knows that there are only two choices of his attitude.

"As cadres of this party, there is only reward and punishment. Yes, we are all ready," Rudy told reporters, Thursday, October 20.

The former mayor of Solo admitted that he was ready to get any punishment.

"I'm ready for 3D. Ready to throw it away, ready to kill the character, ready to be jailed," he said.

Rudy considered it natural for Ganjar to be interested in becoming a presidential candidate. According to him, the PDIP cadre has sufficient capital because he has been a member of the legislature and executive so he provides support.

"If everyone is ready to run for president, it's natural. Pak Ganjar was once governor, he became a member of the DPR RI. If someone asks, I will definitely answer to support it," he said.

Even so, Rudy is still waiting for the final decision from the PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri. He did not want to precede the mandate holder.

"I am still a cadre, that's why I am still waiting for the general chairman. All decisions are in the Ketum," said Rudy.

Previously, PDIP would impose sanctions on cadres who announced the name of the presidential candidate in the presidential election ahead of the general chairman, Megawati Soekarnoputri. They will not hesitate to punish anyone, including party officials.

"Anyone who mentions the name of the presidential or vice presidential candidate from the PDI-P before Megawati's mother determines a candidate will be given a sanction," said Hasto at the PDIP Party School, Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta.

"I, Pak Djarot (Chairman of the PDIP DPP Djarot Saiful Hidayat), Pak Rudi Solo (Chairman of the Solo PDIP FX DPC Rudy Hadyatmo) will also be sanctioned if they violate these provisions," he continued.

If he is still reckless, the PDIP Honorary Council will intervene. The sanctions were given because the party bearing the bull symbol had time and momentum.

Hasto said the announcement would be made by Megawati Soekarnoputri. This step is like when the PDIP appointed Joko Widodo (Jokowi) as a presidential candidate in 2014.
