LSP Survey: PDIP Electability Still In Puncak With 22.1 Percent

JAKARTA - The Public Sound Circle (LSP) released the survey results if the legislative election (Pileg) was held today. As a result, PDIP is still at the peak of political party electability by obtaining 22.1 percent. Followed by the Gerindra Party in second place with 19.3 percent, third Democrat 8.1 percent, fourth Golkar 7.8 percent, fifth PKB 7.1 percent, and sixth PKS 5.6 percent. The seven NasDem 3.9 percent, eighth Perindo with 3.3 percent which can temporarily pass PPP and PAN electability. "The provisional survey findings recorded NasDem's acquisition as Jokowi's supporting party in the 2014 and 2019 elections including Ahok's supporters in the 2017 DKI Pilgub was below the 4 percent parliamentary threshold," said LSP Research and Study Director Indra Nuryadin, in an online survey presentation, Saturday, October 15.

Meanwhile, Indra said, the majority of the public or 43.4 percent admitted that they were still not sure or made their choice absolutely against certain political parties. Meanwhile, 41.9 percent of the public has made sure/determined their choice.

Further found in each political party there is a difference in the level of certainty or belief of choice. PDIP voters are supported by 13.3 percent of voters fixed and 8.8 percent of voters who have not been fixed or sure. Gerindra is supported by 11.5 percent of voters are confident and will not change and 6.5 percent of voters can still change and PKB by 4.1 percent and 3.0 percent. "Different from the previous three political parties, findings for Democrats, Golkar, PKS and NasDem, each consist of voters who are mostly supported by voters who are not sure to vote," he said. The survey was conducted in the period 1-10 October 2022 through direct interviews with the help of questionnaires. The sample number of 1,230 people spread across 34 provinces aged 17 years and over or already married. Margin of error +/- 2.8 percent with a confidence level of 95 percent.
