JAKARTA - The government has not issued a travel ban or Travel Warning for foreign tourists, especially those from China, to come to Indonesia. Especially in anticipation of the spread of the corona virus that occurred in the city of Wuhan.

The government, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu), has just issued a Travel Advisory or an appeal for Indonesian tourists to reconsider their planned trips to China. This consideration was issued during a decision from the World Health Organization (WHO) which had not yet declared the corona virus a global health emergency.

Because there is no ban yet, the Chinese government's anticipation of the spread of the corona virus so far is in the form of strict health and body temperature detection for people leaving the territory of China. This is to prevent sufferers of the corona virus from leaving the area.

In addition, all international airports in Indonesia have also activated the thermo scanner system or body temperature scanner. The use of this tool is carried out as the first attempt to detect health, for tourists and Indonesian citizens returning home from abroad.

Even so, Secretary of the Directorate General of P2P of the Ministry of Health, Achmad Yurianto, admitted that the temperature detector at the airport had not been able to detect people whose conditions were in the incubation period before being positive for the corona virus disease.
