Sandiaga Uno Sulap TMII So Cultural, Nature And Culture-Based

JAKARTA - Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) is ready to change faces after a major renovation. TMII has been the most popular tourist in Jakarta, even Indonesia.

After a long wait for renovation, tourists will soon be able to return to TMII. TMII will reopen with a new concept in November 2022.

Sandiaga Uno, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, targets TMII to be completed before the G20 Summit is held. Sandiaga Uno even stated that there would be no increase in tariffs to enter TMII even though renovations had been carried out.

Sandiaga Uno also stated that TMII will carry a new additional concept in each line of destinations. There are at least three elements prepared for implementation.

"TMII will be developed based on culture, rich in nature and culture. Regarding the Taman Miniatur Indonesia Indah, we are preparing it for the G20 preparation," said Sandiaga Uno, Tuesday, October 11.

TMII revitalization is known to have started in January 2022. Later TMII will consist of 70 percent of the green zone and 30 percent of the building zone. So it is hoped that it can become a tourist destination as a representation of Indonesia's diversity and richness of regional and cultural potential.
