Idiom 'Nasdrun' Until 'Kadrun' Imbulkan Polarisasi, PKS Politician Asks To Give A Good Example

JAKARTA - Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Jazuli Juwaini, asked all parties not to carry a political polarization narrative that could divide the unity of the Indonesian nation. "Don't start polarization as a provocative or idiom such as 'nasdrun'. In the past, the term 'kadrun' was also pinned by other parties, especially political buzzers, causing polarization that is very detrimental to this nation," said Jazuli in Jakarta, Antara, Tuesday, October 11. This PKS politician invites all elements of the nation to mature in the face of political contestation. Political elites should also not set a bad example so as to lead to unproductive debate in democracy. "Differences in choice in democracy are normal, especially when we are a pluralistic society. So, it must be addressed maturely. Do not present a divisive narrative because we have agreed to respect diversity," he explained. He also invited all parties to fill political contestation with ideas that educate the nation by showing quality, capability, positive narrative, and achievement so that Indonesian democracy is more national and intelligent. According to him, the community needs qualified leadership candidates so that those with regional head backgrounds please tell their superior program in leading the region. "Those with ministerial backgrounds, please show their achievements in advancing the ministry sector; those with state institutions set, show their ability to advance their institutions," he said. Therefore, said Jazuli, the candidates for leaders should not attract politics in Indonesia in polarization that divides national unity.
