JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) officially inaugurated Hendrar Prihadi as Head of the Government Goods and Services Procurement Policy Institute (LKPP). The inauguration took place at the State Palace, Jakarta, today, Monday 10 October.
The inauguration is based on Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 125/TPA concerning the Ratification of the Appointment of Primary High Leadership Officials within the Head of the Government Goods Procurement Policy Institute.
"Device Brother Dr. Hendrar Prihadi as Head of the Government Goods/Services Procurement Policy Institute from the time of inauguration, and to him is given ministerial-level rights and facilities in accordance with statutory regulations," reads the Presidential Decree as read by the Deputy for Administration of the Cabinet Secretariat Farid Utomo.
The Presidential Decree is set for October 10, 2022 in Jakarta. President Jokowi then took the oath of office of Hendrar Prihadi as Head of LKPP.
"By Allah, I swear that I will be loyal and obedient to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, and carry out the laws and regulations as straight as possible for the sake of my service to the nation and state," said Hendrar Prihadi taking the oath led by President Jokowi.
Hendrar also vowed to carry out his duties and positions and uphold the ethics of his position.
"Working as well as possible, and with a full sense of responsibility. That I will maintain integrity, not abuse my authority and avoid disgraceful acts," he said.
Also attending the inauguration were Vice President Ma'ruf Amin, the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia as well as the Chair of the Steering Committee for the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP) Megawati Soekarnoputi, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, and other officials.
Hendrar Prihadi replaced the previous Head of LKPP, Azwar Anas, who had been appointed Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) on September 7, 2022.
