W Sumatra - The Class IIB Penitentiary (Lapas) Lubukbasung, Agam Regency, West Sumatra (West Sumatra) conducted a massive raid after the convict was caught possessing a cellphone or mobile phone. The raid was carried out by searching the block and rooms twice a week with the target of cellphones and narcotics. "Searchs and raids for residential rooms continue to be carried out to ensure that no prohibited items are owned by inmates, especially cell phones and narcotics," said Pilusman.

Regarding the issue of inmates at the Lubukbasung Prison with the initials AR, MN and DP were arrested for being involved in the circulation of 105 kilograms of marijuana in Pasaman and West Pasaman Regencies, Pilusman denied it.

He explained that the three were BNN convicts who were entrusted to Lubukbasung Prison on Wednesday, September 28.

Pilusman also explained that the ownership of cellphones owned by BNN convicts was entrusted to the Lubukbasung Prison, obtained from their friends outside the prison by throwing them from behind the safety wall. This is based on their confession.
