NasDem Announces 2024 Presidential Candidates Today, Carry Anies Baswedan?

JAKARTA - The NasDem Party will announce its 2024 presidential candidate (Capres) today, Monday, October 3. It was mentioned that Anies Baswedan was the person who was announced.

General Treasurer of the NasDem Party, Ahmad Sahroni, confirmed information that his party would announce the name of the presidential candidate today.

"That's true," said Sahroni, Monday, October 3.

However, Sahroni did not clearly state whether the name Anies Baswedan announced by the party bearing the star of mercy was the 2024 presidential candidate.

Because it is known, NasDem has 3 names of presidential candidates as a result of the National Working Meeting in June 2022, namely Anies Baswedan, General Andika Perkasa, and Ganjar Pranowo.

The deputy chairman of Commission III of the DPR has not yet been able to confirm that the announcement of the presidential candidate who will be carried will be delivered directly to the General Chair of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh.

Previously, Sahroni had previously disclosed that NasDem would announce a coalition of parties facing the 2024 General Election on November 10.

"Coalition, yes, on November 10, that is," said Sahroni when met in the South Jakarta area, Monday, November 26.

Based on information circulating, to coincide with Hero's Day, NasDem will also announce a presidential candidate to be carried in the 2024 presidential election. However, Sahroni is reluctant to reveal further.

"There are three names, they will be announced by my babe (NasDem General Chair Surya Paloh) in November. The date, wait for the date," said Sahroni.
