Moeldoko Invites State Defense Students In Such A Way

JAKARTA - Presidential Chief of Staff Dr. Moeldoko invites students and students of Padang State University, West Sumatra, to participate in state defense efforts. However, defending the country in question is not only about taking to the battlefield.

"Neighborhood is not only about taking up arms. Fighting poverty and ignorance is also a form of defending the country. Therefore, I invite student students to defend the country, meaning thinking about how to eradicate poverty in Indonesia," said Moeldoko while giving a public lecture in front of hundreds of students and students, at the Padang State University Auditorium, according to a written statement received by VOI Friday, September 30.

At the public lecture, Moeldoko also had a dialogue with young people who had a high curiosity about state management.

"In managing this nation it is not easy, but there is nothing difficult if we unite. Moreover, we are awarded extraordinary and intelligent human capital. They are young people who are not inheritors, but become a generation that determines the future," said Moeldoko.

The Presidential Chief of Staff explained that the government has a measurable plan to realize Indonesia's 2030 projection, namely to become a country with an economy ranked 7th in the world.

The government is also targeting 113 million trained workers by 2030 from only 55 million trained personnel in 2012.

"With a market opportunity of 1.8 trillion US dollars in 2030, our resources in the fields of agribusiness, fisheries, and other natural resources are very large. So we need human resources that can manage such great potential," concluded Moeldoko, who took a selfie with students/i Padang State University after the event.
