Putri Candrawati Detained, Commission III: All Parties Support The Steps Of The National Police Chief

JAKARTA - Member of Commission III of the DPR from the PKB faction, Jazilul Fawaid, supports the police who have detained Ferdy Sambo's wife, Putri Candrawati, in the premeditated murder case of Brigadier Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat or Brigadier J. Jazilul assessed that the steps taken by the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo were appropriate and in accordance with the procedures for handling legal cases.

"We support the steps of the National Police Chief. We value this detention step appropriately and according to the procedures for handling legal cases," Jazilul told reporters, Friday, September 30. The Deputy Chairperson of the MPR believes that the National Police Chief will act fairly and transparently in handling the case.

"We believe that the National Police Chief in handling this case will act carefully, transparently and consider the community's sense of justice," he said. According to Jazilul, all parties will definitely support the steps taken by the National Police Chief. With the detention of Putri Candrawati, the Deputy of PKB also hopes that the image of the police in the future will be better.

"At the same time, it is hoped that the police will return their image. We believe that all parties support the steps taken by the National Police Chief," said Jazilul.

The National Police has officially arrested a premeditated murder suspect, Putri Candrawati, in connection with the death of Brigadier J. Putri was detained at the Police Headquarters Detention Center.

"Today, our PC brothers have stated that they have decided to be detained at the Police Headquarters Detention Center," said National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

Sigit said the detention of Putri Candrawati was carried out after her physical and psychological condition was declared healthy.

"Based on information from investigators, the psychological condition and health of the PC sister have been declared good," explained Sigit.
