JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan targets the DKI Provincial Government to revitalize two cultural heritages every year. This is stated in the Governor's Regulation Number 25 of 2022 concerning the Regional Development Plan (RPD) of DKI Jakarta for 2023-2026.

Currently, Jakarta has 256 cultural heritage objects consisting of buildings, structures, sites, and areas; In addition, there are 40 museums that already have national registration numbers. According to Anies, these historical objects have the potential to be revitalized through adaptive reuse.
"The purpose of adaptive reuse is to reuse space for other functions other than what was originally built or designed to grow new activities that can support conservation efforts," he explained.
