Mahfud MD Comments On The Action Of The Chairperson Of The Depok DPRD, Who Is Suspected Of Being Aniaya, A Truck Driver, Here's What He Said!

DEPOK - The case of abuse allegedly carried out by the Deputy Chairman of the Depok DPRD, Tajudin Tabri, to a truck driver with the initials AM (24) continues to be in the public spotlight. Even the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD also commented.

Mahfud denied the actions taken by the leadership of the Depok DPRD. According to him, a leader or member should not be emotional to the point of physical violence.

"Wow, it seems that you can't, the leadership or members of the DPRD punishment people physically in the middle of the road, the regent or governor can't, they should be proportional, they don't need to be emotional," Mahfud MD said on his Twitter account @Mohmahfudmd quoted on Sunday, September 25.

Previously, a viral video on social media where a Deputy Chairman of the Depok City DPRD H Tajudin Tabri from the Golkar Party was suspected of molesting a truck driver who hit a portal on Jalan Raya Krukut, Limo District, Depok, Friday, September 23.

The action judged by netizens was very inhumane towards truck drivers. Although the driver was wrong to hit the portal, the punishment was not like that.

Tajudin, who served as Treasurer of the DPD of the Depok City Golkar Party, explained that he did not carry out the persecution by stepping on the shoulder of the truck driver who was about to push up.

"I didn't step on it, but I did say to roll around in the street, with the intention of providing a deterrent effect," he also said.

According to Tajudin, his emotions were emotional when residents called him, because there were trucks involving the portal and this incident had been repeated.

Tajudin apologized if, according to the public who saw the viral video, it was considered inhumane to the incident.

"I apologize for this incident," he said again.
