Erick said that the design of super-priority tourism development in five destinations, namely Labuan Bajo, Likupang, Borobudur, Mandalika, and Lake Toba, each destination has a different market.
"Because if there are no differences in each region, it will not be something interesting in the end. We hope that Labuan Bajo becomes a premium destination that can be our own target," he said.
For Mandalika, said Erick, his party will target tourism for young people and tourists who like sports. As is known, the Mandalika Circuit in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), will be used as a MotoGP race track in 2021.
"In Mandalika there is an education hub, because the Mandalika concept is targeted (targeted) at young people and sports. Incidentally there will be a MotoGP later," he said.
Meanwhile, for the Manado Bitung-Likupang area, Erick conveyed that the destination was included in the middle or middle class. The Likupang tourism development concept will be adjusted to the market. This destination has open space in the form of lakes and other natural views.
"In Likupang there are many tourists from China. So there is a middle class market. There are open spaces and other things," he said.
