MAKASSAR - Candidate for vice mayor of Makassar number 1 Fatmawati Rusdi experienced verbal sexual harassment on social media.

"Yes, that's true, I got that," said legal team spokesman Idamanta Akhmad Rianto, contacted by VOI, Friday, November 27.

The legal team of Danny-Fatmawati Rusdy considered it a very disrespectful act against women.

"So what he said and what he did was a heinous and barbaric act, in my opinion using language, a language which I think is far from politeness and ethics," he continued.

The ADAMA team assessed the case as an insult that personally attacked Fatmawati Rusdi's mother. According to him, this is a criminal act.

"I think because of this, the harassment of a woman, we know that this is part of the violence, I think, the verbal abuse that was carried out and then it is far from ethical elements.

Meanwhile, Fatmawati Rusdi responded to the verbal sexual harassment she experienced. Fatmawati Rusdi is the only woman in the Makassar Pilkada contest.

"We can be insulted and abused. But the smile of happiness and the spirit of devotion should never be slack. Keep on the path of kindness. Salama'ki!" wrote Fatma in his photo post on his Instagram account.

Fatmawati was a victim of verbal abuse by a woman who was allegedly told by one of the other candidate's supporters. This happened during the second round of the Makassar Pilkada public debate.
