Do Not Accept Risma Being Insulted, Women In Surabaya Go Down To The Street To Hold The Mayor's Action

Defend Risma Action in Surabaya, Friday 27 November (ANTARA)

SURABAYA - Dozens of women staged an action in front of the Surabaya City Hall, East Java. They defend and provide support to the Mayor of Surabaya, Tri Rismaharini (Risma) for the circulation of an offensive viral video.

"We, the people of Surabaya, sincerely enjoy the fruits of their development work. Yes, Mrs. Risma, this tough woman builds Surabaya not just her body. But the spirit of Surabaya is built with her heart too," said action coordinator Renny Anjani during a speech quoted from Antara, Friday, 27 November.

The action started with a viral video in the form of chants and yells that read "Destroy Risma Right Now" sung by supporters of candidates for mayor and deputy mayor of Surabaya serial number 2 Machfud Arifin and Mujiaman.

On that basis, the mothers in Surabaya felt hurt and furious. They then held an action to support Bu Risma and fight against thuggery.

They brought several posters containing support for Risma such as "Bu Risma a symbol of Suroboyo's success", "You premature thugs. Sopo sing arep koen ancurno? (Who are you going to destroy). Suroboyo's mothers? Join your enemies! Surabaya? This is your enemy), ".

Renny said, only unethical people would want to destroy an accomplished woman who had succeeded in building Surabaya.

"Did he support Pak Machfud Arifin did not see the work of the first female mayor in Surabaya who had built the City of Heroes with all his heart and soul," he said.

Anjani questioned the reasons for MA-Mujiaman supporters to blaspheme a woman who had built Surabaya. For Anjani, they are not aware that the blasphemed Risma is a mother who leads Surabaya wisely.

"Your oral shows your worth as a dignified citizen of the city! Mrs. Risma is your mother, also my mother, our mother is all Surabaya citizens who you want to destroy," he said.

The Surabaya Pilkada was followed by two pairs of candidates. Candidate candidate pair number 1 Eri Cahyadi and Armudji carried the PDI Perjuangan and supported by PSI. In addition, they also get additional strength from six non-parliamentary political parties, namely the Crescent Star Party (PBB), the Hanura Party, the Berkarya Party, PKPI, and the Garuda Party.

Meanwhile, Machfud Arifin-Mujiaman pair number 2 was carried by a coalition of eight parties, namely PKB, PPP, PAN, Golkar, Gerindra, PKS, Democrat and NasDem Party and supported by a non-parliamentary party, namely the Perindo Party.
