Polda Again Holds A Mass COVID-19 Test In Petamburan Tomorrow

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya will again hold a mass COVID-19 test in the Petamburan area, Central Jakarta, tomorrow, Friday, November 27.

The free rapid test, said said, was a follow-up to tracing the spread of COVID-19 from the crowd of the Prophet's birthday and the wedding held by Rizieq Shihab.

"Friday tomorrow, we will go to a mass rapid again at the petamburan. By involving the TNI and the DKI Regional Government, in this case the Task Force," said Yusri at Polda Metro Jaya, Central Jakarta, Thursday, November 26.

Yusri asked the residents of Petamburan and its surroundings who had participated in the crowd's activities to come for a mass test tomorrow.

"This is part of the socialization as well. For Petamburan residents, those who feel that there has been a touch in the crowd, to be aware of carrying out tests because we prioritize health protocols," said Yusri.

Some time ago, Polda Metro Jaya also held a mass test at SD Negeri Petamburan 01-03 Jakarta for three days. Thousands of rapid test kits have been prepared.

Unfortunately, many residents chose not to come to the location of the mass rapid test. During the last two days, only 276 residents have undergone a rapid test, namely 89 people on Sunday, November 22, 80 people on Monday, and 107 on Tuesday, November 24.

On the third day of the mass test, Yusri said there were five people who were declared reactive to COVID-19. When they were about to be retested again, there were three residents who fled the location.

"When we retest again, there are 3 who left the place. This is what we are still investigating. We hope persuasively first. We hope that we can come to the place where the existing tests are carried out," said Yusri.
