Included In Nangka Vegetables, 9 Packages Of Crystal Methamphetamine Are Still Caught By Samarinda Prison Officers

SAMARINDA - Nine packages of methamphetamine were inserted in a vegetable deposit that was thwarted by entering the Samarinda Class II A Narcotics Prison. The inspection officer identified it during the detection of the goods deposited.

"The smuggling was successfully thwarted by officers during a follow-up examination and search of the goods deposited," said Samarinda Class II A Narcotics Head Hidayat in Samarinda, East Kalimantan (Kaltim), quoted from Antara, Thursday, September 16.

He revealed that the officers secured nine packs of methamphetamine, of which the illicit goods were carried by visitors with the initials MB (26).

MB is known to live in East Balikpapan which is registered in the A-67 queue number in the E-Trol application intended for prisoners with the initials AW.

Then the officers checked MB's belongings at 15.06 WITA which was intended for AW.

"With a thorough and thorough examination, our officers managed to thwart an attempt to smuggle nine packages of methamphetamine weighing approximately 10 grams," he said.

The head of the Samarinda Narcotics Prison also reported the findings to the Head of the Correctional Division of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of East Kalimantan.

Then, the Narcotics Prison also coordinated with the Samarinda Police Narcotics Unit for further investigation of the perpetrators.

"We also carry out synergy and coordination with the Samarinda City Police in this case the Narcotics Satres for further processing," he concluded.
