Mahfud MD: Bjorka Actually Doesn't Have The Ability To Break Into Difficulty

JAKARTA - Mahfud MD firmly said that the anonymous hacker, hacker or hacker who was in the spotlight, was not an expert. The Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs even emphasized that the data leaked was not confidential.

This was conveyed by Mahfud after holding a meeting at his office, Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat with the Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) Budi Gunawan, the Minister of Communication and Information Johnny G Plate, and the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

He said, Bjorka actually spread the data just wanted to inform the government that hacking could be very easy to do. However, in fact, the anonymous account does not have qualified abilities.

"The so-called Bjorka doesn't actually have the expertise or ability to break into the difficult ones," Mahfud said in a press conference broadcast on the YouTube of the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Wednesday, September 14.

Furthermore, he said that BIN and Polri actually already have an overview of the figure behind Bjorka. However, the official announcement does not want to be made to the public.

"We continue to investigate because until now the pictures of the perpetrators have been well identified by BIN and Polri," said Mahfud.

"But we can't announce whose pictures and where they are, we already have the tools to track them all," continued the former Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court (MK).

As previously reported, Bjorka, who is an anonymous hacker, is in the spotlight. He is the mastermind behind the spread of 26,730,797 data history browsing of IndiHome customers which includes information related to Identity Cards (KTP), email, mobile number, keywords, domains, platforms, and URLs.

In addition, Bjorka is also the perpetrator of the spread of 1.3 billion SIM card registration data, 105 million Indonesian voter data related to elections, to documents written by the President and the State Intelligence Agency (BIN).

Next, he also spread his identity or doxing on a number of ministers such as the Minister of Communication and Information Johnny G. Plate to the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD. Not only that, but the personal data belonging to the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan was also distributed by Bjorka.
