JAKARTA - Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly has issued a decree on the ratification of Muhammad Mardiono as Acting Chairperson of the United Development Party (PPP) for the 2020-2025 period. Regarding his new position as Acting Head of PPP, Mardiono along with a number of PPP DPP administrators will visit the KPU office this afternoon. PPP Deputy Chair Arsul Sani said his arrival was to formally convey the change in the position of Head of the PPP, which was previously held by Suharso Monoarfa. "In the afternoon, it is planned that the PPP DPP will go to the KPU, while introducing Pak Mardiono as the new PPP Acting Chairman," said Arsul when confirmed, Monday, September 12.

In addition to the introduction to the KPU, Arsul said, PPP under the leadership of Mardiono will also carry out the process of improving the Political Party Information System (Sipol) so that it can take part in the registration stage for the 2024 General Election.

"After the introduction of Mr. Mardiono, we carried out the process of improving the PPP Police," said the Deputy Chairperson of the MPR from the PPP faction.

For information, the Sipol improvement was carried out regarding the improvement of data from a number of party members. This afternoon, Mardiono is scheduled to visit the KPU at 14.00 WIB.
