First Celebration After 2 Years Of Pandemic, TNI AL's 77th Anniversary Ceremony Led By KSAL Yudo Margono

JAKARTA - The Chief of Naval Staff (KSAL) Admiral Yudo Margono became the Inspector of the 76th Anniversary of the Indonesian Navy (AL) Commemoration Ceremony.

This year is the first year the Indonesian Navy celebrates its anniversary after two years through the COVID-19 pandemic. This celebration ceremony took place at the TNI AL Kesatrian Pondok Rowing, North Jakarta, Monday 12 September.

The TNI AL's 77th Anniversary ceremony was attended by the retired staff of the Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Navy, as well as the defense attache of friendly countries.

In this celebration, the Indonesian Navy previously carried out various series of activities, such as planting sorghum seeds simultaneously in all ranks of the Indonesian Navy in 77 locations throughout Indonesia, the National Clean Sea Movement massively throughout Indonesia.

Furthermore, health services in the form of dental and oral health checks, blood donation, and mass circumcision in 77 locations involving warships of the Republic of Indonesia (KRI).

In addition, a pilgrimage was also carried out to the Heroes Cemetery (TMP) as a form of appreciation for the services of the heroes who had died, fun run, and Naval Expo 2022.

The Naval Expo 2022 was symbolically opened by General Andika, KSAL Admiral Yudo Margono, and Deputy Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Navy (Wakasal) Admiral TNI Ahmadi Heri Purwono. The event was enlivened by fireworks attractions at the Samudera Hall, Jakarta, Sunday evening, September 11.
