Anita Kolopaking Reveals Her Introduction To Joko Tjandra Through The Pinangki Prosecutor

JAKARTA - The Public Prosecutor (JPU) presented Anita Kolopaking as a witness in the case of alleged gratification of the Supreme Court (MA) fatwa arrangement with the defendant prosecutor Pinangki Sirna Malasari. During the trial, Anita mentioned Pinangki, who introduced herself to Joko Tjandra, because she needed a lawyer.

"At that time, according to the defendant Pinangki, I was introduced to Pak Joko Tjandra for a lawyer," said Anita during a trial at the Corruption Court, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, November 25.

But at that time, Pinangki did not explain in detail the reasons for Joko Tjandra to seek a lawyer. To Anita, Pinangki only explained that Joko Tjandra would deliver this directly.

"As for what it means, I just met Pak Joko, and then ask what is the interest," he said.

Until finally, Anita left for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia together with Pinangki to meet Joko Tjandara. During the meeting they discussed the legal status regarding the decision on the execution of the Bank Bali cassie case.

"That's to ask the status of Joko Tjandra with the MK and PK decisions, so to ask the Prosecutor's Office," he said.

Anita said that the meeting did not discuss other issues. This is because the execution decision from the Constitutional Court is considered non-excutable (or has permanent legal force but cannot be executed).

"Frankly, he just wants to know the legal status. It looks like the PK is non-excutable, we want to ask the AGO," he said.

In this case, prosecutor Pinangki was charged with three counts, namely the first charge of receiving a bribe of US $ 500,000 (around Rp7.4 billion) from the convicted Bank Bali cessie case Djoko Soegiarto Tjandra.

Second, the money laundering charges originating from the receipt of bribes amounting to 444,900 dollars or around Rp6,219,380,900.00 as money given by Djoko Tjandra for the processing of a fatwa to the Supreme Court.

Third, Pinangki was charged with committing malicious conspiracy with Andi Irfan Jaya and Djoko Tjandra to bribe officials at the AGO and MA worth 10 million US dollars.
