Accused Of Making A Hoax Statement, Deolipa Yumara Reports Anti-Hoax Advocate Alliance

JAKARTA - Former Bharada E's lawyer, Deolipa Yumara officially reported back the Anti-Hoax Advocate Alliance to the South Jakarta Metro Police, Monday, September 5, 2022. It is known that it was a report on behalf of Sakirudin regarding Article 27 Jo 45 paragraph 3 of Law No. 19 of 2016 concerning amendments to Law No. 11 of 2008 concerning ITE and/or Article 315 of the Criminal Code of light insults and Article 14 of Law No. 1 of 1946. "I have reported and made a police report on behalf of the reported party Sakirudin and his friends from the Anti-Hoax Advocates alliance," said Deolipa at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Monday, September 5. Deolipa explained the reason for reporting the Anti-Hoax Advocate Alliance, because it had defamed his good name and the family's lawyer Brigadier Nofriansyah Annugas Hutabarat alias Brigadier J, Kamaruddin Simanjuntak.

"He defamed me and Mr. Kamaruddin," he said. Previously, Deolipa was accused of spreading hoax statements in the news that went viral from mid-July to the end of August 2022. The report was registered with the report number LP/B/0495/VIII/2022/SPKT Bareskrim Polri dated August 31, 2022. The Alliance alleges that the two statements were tendentious, lies, slander, or hoaxes. Kamarudddin and Deolipa were accused of violating Articles 14 and 15 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 1 of 1946 regarding the spread of false news that caused trouble.
