JAKARTA - This is the atmosphere of the demonstration against the increase in fuel prices in the Horse Statue area, Central Jakarta, Monday (5/9). There were participants participating in the demonstrations who were members of HMI and MPO pushing each other with the police. This pushing action occurred when the crowd from HMI and MPO tried to move forward on Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat to the State Palace. Police officers who had been on standby immediately detained a group of students from continuing to the State Palace. After negotiating with the police, finally the masses from HMI and MPP were allowed to hold demonstrations. Watch the video below.
