Officially Papua Football Academy, Jokowi Asked To Pay More Attention To Sports Facilities

JAKARTA - As many as 3,000 school children involved in the inauguration of the Papua Football Academy (PFA) hope that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) can pay more attention to sports facilities in Papua, especially football.

One of Jasmani, Sports and Health (PJOK) Education teachers from SMA Negeri 3 Jayapura, Aidhyel, said that his party brought 50 students and students to the inauguration. "We are proud of the Papua Football Academy which was inaugurated directly by President Joko Widodo," said Aidhyel at the inauguration, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, August 31.

From field observations, it can be seen that the children were very enthusiastic about participating in the inauguration of PFA which was held at the Lukas Enembe Stadium, Kampung Harapan, Jayapura Regency, Papua.

According to Aidhyel, his party hopes that the ability of Papuan children in the field of sports can be further at the level and supported with more adequate facilities. "Football is a favorite of Papuan children, so we hope that in the future the ability to play football can be even better," he said., in the future, we hope to pay more attention to the facilities that exist here because we are in dire straits," he said.

President Joko Widodo arrived Tuesday night (30/8) in Papua and on Wednesday he will make a working visit centered in Jayapura Regency, Papua where after the opening of the Papua Football Academy (PFA) was followed by the Distribution of Business Identification Numbers (NIB) and visiting the Healthy House Doyo Baru. Following the President and Mrs. Iriana during this working visit included Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir, and Minister of Investment/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board Bahlil Lahadalia.
