JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo said Inspector General Ferdy Sambo had refused to be picked up by a special team (timsus) and did not admit his actions. The reason was, he insisted on the facts behind the death of Brigadier J due to a shootout with Bharada E.

The refusal started from the Timsus which had received the actual facts from Bharada E. Thus, the National Police Chief ordered the Head of the ICT Division of the Police Inspector General Slamet Uliandi, who was a member of the Timsus.

"Based on Mr. Richard's statement, we asked one of the team members at that time, the Head of the ICT Division to pick up Mr. FS," said Sigit in a working meeting with Commission III of the DPR RI, Wednesday, August 24.

However, at that time Sambo refused. He still maintains that the real fact is that Brigadier J was killed by Bharada E's shot.

The National Police Chief responded firmly to the refusal. The four-star general still ordered his members to pick up Sambo and place him in a special place at the Mobile Brigade Command Headquarters, Depok.

"Based on Richard's statement, Timsus decided to place a special position for the Mobile Brigade Command Headquarters," said Sigit

On the previous occasion, Sigit had said that Bharada E made a false statement. However, as the investigation process progressed, he revealed the real facts.

Initially, at the beginning of the investigation, Bharada E always said he had shot Brigadier J. However, with the special examination method, his confession changed.

"The person concerned at that time conveyed the changes related to the previous confession," said Sigit.

At that time, to the special team, Bharada E stated that he was not the one who started the shooting of Brigadier J.

However, what he saw was Brigadier J already lying covered in blood. Then, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo stood right in front of him.

"Brother Richard said that seeing the late Joshua lying covered in blood, brother FS stood in front holding a gun and handed it over to brother Richard," said Sigit.
