The Chief Of The National Police Unravel The Intervention Of The National Police Propam When The Death Of Brigadier J Was First Investigated

JAKARTA - The National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, opened up about how the case of Brigadier J's death was initially investigated. The National Police Chief explained the intervention of many personnel in the National Police's Propam Division.

In front of members of Commission III of the DPR during the RDP, the National Police Chief explained that the report of Brigadier J's death was submitted to the South Jakarta Police on July 8, 2022. The incident, said Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, who used to be the Head of the Propam Division, occurred at 17.20 WIB.

The Head of Criminal Investigation at the South Jakarta Police, who was contacted by the driver, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, first came to Duren Tiga's official residence. Then 10 minutes later, it was Propam's turn to come.

The crime scene investigation ended at 19.40 WIB and Brigadier J's body was then taken to the Police Hospital with an operational car escorted by the South Jakarta Police Satreskrim and the Provos Police.

The autopsy process on the outside and inside of Brigadier J started at 22.30 WIB.

"It ends on Saturday (9 July) at 02.00 WIB," said the National Police Chief, Wednesday, August 24.

At that time, Brigadier J's younger brother could not participate in the autopsy process because the rules were that only investigators and forensic doctors could accompany him.

"After the body was put into the coffin, Brigadier J's younger brother was only able to see Brigadier J's body," continued the National Police Chief.

Saturday, July 9, when investigators from the South Jakarta Police visited the National Police Divpropam Paminal to examine witnesses, the investigators received intervention from Propam.

At that time, a number of Propam personnel ordered to replace the CCTV HDD which they eventually secured themselves.

"TKP processing from the South Jakarta Metro Police has received intervention from the FS so that the TKP process is unprofessional," he said.
