Secretly Komnas HAM Seems To Have Checked Ferdy Sambo's Wife, Putri Candrawati

JAKARTA - The National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) together with Komnas Perempuan confirmed that they had examined Putri Candrawati, the wife of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.

"Actually, there has been an examination of Mrs. PC," said Komnas HAM chairman Ahmad Taufan Damanik, as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, August 23.

Taufan said the examination of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's wife was carried out about three days ago. The results of requests for information by Komnas HAM together with Komnas Perempuan will be submitted to investigators.

The head of Komnas HAM said that the results of the request for information against Putri Candrawati would be more appropriately handled or handed over to the investigators. It is hoped that this will also be opened in court.

Regarding what materials Komnas HAM and Komnas Perempuan asked Putri Candrawathi, Taufan said that everything was related to the death of Brigadier J.

However, Taufan did not mention in detail what was asked.

Then regarding the location and time of the examination, Taufan Damanik also did not reveal it in detail to journalists.

He emphasized that the examination of Putri Candrawathi had been completed, and that Komnas HAM was still or was preparing a complete report and recommendation to the President and DPR RI as well as a report to the National Police Chief.

"We submit all the materials to investigators and we hope that they will be opened in court," said Taufan.

In the near future, her party will also meet with the Chairperson of Komnas Perempuan to discuss cooperation related to handling the case.
